Côr y Gleision – Guidance for Attending Rehearsals
COVID RISK ASSESSMENT: NOVEMBER 2020
COVID RISK ASSESSMENT: LLANEDEYRN SCHOOL JULY 2021
Please note it is the responsibility of each chorister to make sure their attendance at rehearsals does not put them, or anyone else, at any risk and that they must take into account any individual health concerns they may have that could make them more vulnerable to Covid-19.
All choristers attending a rehearsal must email the choir before each rehearsal. This must be received no later than 12pm on the day of the rehearsal.
Entrance to the rehearsal will not be permitted unless you have returned a signed form for that rehearsal.
Choristers must read the Risk Assessment on the choir website and confirm they have read it, understood it, and agree to comply with it by completing and signing the pre rehearsal questionnaire.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time of your rehearsal in order to line up and be ready to enter the stand on time.
Facemasks and/or visors can be worn at your own preference during the rehearsal but we ask you to wear a facemask when entering the stadium and lining up before going into the stand.
There will be a one-way system of entering and leaving the stadium.
There will be four committee members acting as stewards at the stadium. Please follow their instructions and guidance.
Choristers must keep 2m apart while attending rehearsals and 3m apart when singing. There must be no face to face singing and no mingling of choristers during rehearsal.
A seating plan will be distributed before each rehearsal. Rows of seats will be closed and seats within each row being used will be closed to allow for the required distancing. Please sit in the seat allocated to you.
There will be marked cones in place for each section. Please line up behind your section’s cone in order of the seating plan before entering the stand.
Choristers must bring their own wipes to wipe down their seats and any surfaces they come into contact with, before and after the rehearsal.
Choristers must bring their own supply of hand sanitizer (above 70% alcohol content) to use regularly throughout the rehearsal.
Choristers must have their own music copies. There must be no sharing of copies or files. A list of music for each rehearsal will be distributed prior to each rehearsal.
Photographs may be taken of those attending the rehearsals for Track and Trace purposes.
There will be a 20-minute interval between the two rehearsals each evening for the first choir to exit and the second choir to take its place. Choristers are asked to wipe their seats and any other surfaces they may have touched before leaving the stadium as quickly and quietly as possible maintaining 2m distancing.
Toilet facilities are available, only one chorister to be inside the building at any time. If waiting outside with others, please maintain 2m distancing.
Choristers should travel to the site alone or in household groups and avoid all unnecessary shared trips in vehicles.
Face coverings should be used if using public transport in line with Welsh Government regulations.
Parking is available on site.
You are advised to wash your hands immediately on returning home after the rehearsal.
If the rehearsal is cancelled for any reason, such as extreme weather conditions or changes to government guidelines, you will be notified by email and on the choir Face Book page by 5pm at the latest on the day of the rehearsal. Please watch your emails.
